BIRTHDAY's BIRTHDAY'S SO MANY BIRTHDAY's

This time around it was Happy 16th Birthday to Mr. Micah Simon. WOW, our boy is 16. It just amazes me how he has grown and how much he has changed. Micah has a wonderful sense of humor. He has learned the fine art of flirting and let me tell you, he does not care if you are 18 or 80, he will flirt away. It is just funny to watch him. He laughs so hard when you help him put on his deodorant or when you have to help him shave. We all just get the giggles. As parents, brothers and sisters, we are all so proud of Micah. He has done some things we never thought he would do and he is learning more every day. It is neat to think about what he may actually do with all that he learns. Yes, our milestones are measured a bit differently than most parents of 16 year olds. Still we beam with pride in all that he is and all that he does. Bottom line, he brings us a lot of joy. Micah and Mom I wish you could hear him laughing!!! Gotta love a good farting machine. Just a moment full of laughter.

EASTER PICTURES :o)

I'm Late, I'm Late, for a Very Important Date...LOL

It is just like us to be busy and not take time to come here and update for everyone. I love it here, in my own little corner of the net, but still this family just gets so busy at times and all of a sudden I am way behind here. Oh well. We have been busy celebrating birthdays with several more coming fast. Joseph turned 9. That was fun and also quiet. We did manage to make about 50 cupcakes for him to take to school and to have with his siblings. Almost as soon as we got done with his birthday, it was time to have MacGyver's first birthday with us, which was his third birthday. It was fun also. As you already know, he has Celiac's Disease. This was our very first time making gluten free cupcakes. I have to tell you, they were really pretty good. WE give a huge thank you to Deb for helping us learn which ones are really good. MacGyver LOVES Handy Manny so it was a Handy Manny Birthday for him. Merrill and I took the children go-cart riding. It was a blast. The kids are getting

APRIL FOOL'S

Any parent knows first hand how much fun can be had on April Fool's Day. The kids start out with all kinds of fun things. The spiders that are not really there, the shoes that are not really untied, the dog that is about to bite you from behind. On and on the list goes with child's laughter and pure delight as they "get you" each time. I love it. I love to hear them laugh. Today I have to admit that I got taken for the day. It was rather funny after the fact. First off I set the entire thing up. I called our PCA, Amanda, who is off work until the 20th of this month, to get her to report to work and tell the kids that she was back. Then she was going to tell the replacement PCA, Marie, that she was back and didn't the office notify her. All was going according to plan. Kids were happy she was back, Marie was a little upset and called her boss, Jodie, to ask what on earth was going on. It was going beautifully. Then Jodie called Amanda....told her she was fired for
