HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY MISS EMILEE!!

It was a fun day at our home as we celebrated our grand daughter's third birthday. That is Emilee on the right, Michael and Haylee. Those of you who knew Michael when he was little, no doubt see him all over again in Emilee. We are truly blessed to have both girls over a lot. It is a joy to watch them grow.

Street Vibrations SAturday September 23, 2006

Merrill and I took Saturday off and went to Street Vibrations. We did something we have never done before, we did the "CatHouse Poker Run" For those of you that may not know, brothels are not only legal in many parts of Nevada, it is a thriving business. Well, once a year they are open to women also....during Street Vibrations. It was really not as bad as I thought it would be. We rode for hours, going to the different business' collecting our punch for the poker run. It was actually quite fun. I have never in my life seen so much chrome, leather and Harley Davidsons. Merrill loved all the attention that his Boss Hoss attracted. It is hard to believe that even after 28 years of marriage, I never know he could talk so much. The only other place he talks this much is in elevators.....just ask my sister, Tammy.....LOL. Neither of us won, but we enjoyed a full day of just the two of us. It was nice. We also took the time out earlier in the week to enjoy a dinner out for my bi...

Nothing Better than New Bikes

Two proud new owners and their two new bikes. LisaMarie is ready to try it with no training wheels and McClain is just ready to fly...or is that ride like the wind...LOL We will have to post another picture of Mordachi and his bike. Bless his heart, he got the bike nearly three years ago and just now can ride it. Here is to the many bumps that come along when one can ride. You go kids!!!! Love ya, Mom

Can it really be September 10th??? Oh My

All I can say is time flies when you are having fun. Seems like just yesterday that we were celebrating Marshal's driving permit and now here we are staring our third week of school. WOW!!!! Most of the children started school on August 28th, but then Joey and McClain started early childhood classes on Setember 5th. We made the most of our long Labor Day Weekend. Merrill took that Friday off and we took Joseph, Joey and McClain to the Rib Cook-off in Sparks. It was nice and we enjoy all the ribs from the different vendors. Merrill did not have to fight the teens for his ribs....LOL. On Saturday we took the kids on a day camping trip with our friends Mary and Jim. They went all weekend, but we had plans, so that is why we only went ofr the day. The children enjoyed almost the entire day in an Artisian Well fed lake. It was a little warm and much to their liking. Jim also cooked some wonderful ribs and we all enjoyed more than our fair share. Thanks Jim!!!! On Monday we took everyon...

WE HAVE A NEW ONE!!

No not child....LOL...it is a spring lamb that our neighbor found and gave to us. She is about 6 months old and as of yet has no name. We already love her to bits. Our Llamas are not too sure of her, but that is only because they do not want to share their food...trust me when I say that. We love all of our animals. Our Hannah cat passed away about two weeks ago of old age. She was just shy of 17 years old. I am not too sure we will get another cat though as I am just so allergic to them. King Solomon is almost 11 years old. We are pulling for him. He is another miracle. The vet said we would be lucky to get him to 8 or 9 due to his sheer size. He is a pure breed Great Dane that is not only tall, but weighs in at 242 lbs. He is slower and sometimes unsteady, but he still loves to steal food. Not too bad for an old guy. We also have another surprise, we will post it later. We have to keep you coming back for more.

How Many Ways Can You Say Tired?

The pictures speak for themself.

Happy 18th Birthday Marshal!!!!!

My how time flys when you are having fun. August 8, 1988 Marshal and Princess Beatrice of England made their grand entrance into this world. Our guess is their lives have been more than worlds apart. As for Marshal, for his birthday dinner for at least 7 of the 17 years, he chose cereal. We felt it was only right that we take this last chance to reflect on his childhood and have cereal for his special dinner. At first he was in disbelief that I would ever do that....but as you can see, I did and he finaly saw the humor in it all and quickly got on board with the plan. His girlfriend, Ashley, joined him at our home for his birthday celebration. Can you tell she does not like to have her picture taken?? This was Marshal's last official time to get to go through the birthday spanking machine. He was laughing to hard to really enjoy to impact of all of it. One phase ends and a new phase of life begins. He will be a senior this year and life is pretty good. Marshal has his on yard wor...
